As a SpringStone Montessori School team member, we believe that you can inspire teachers in shaping the minds of our youngest learners and preparing them for their educational journey.
SpringStone Montessori School is an early learning, private school utilizing the Montessori Method as its curriculum which promotes active learning through hands-on learning and activities. We have children from 13 months to 9-years-old.
The position qualifications are:
- Must have an associate's degree or a higher degree in early childhood education and have at least 1,000 hours of verifiable experience in a childcare facility
OR - Hold an associate's degree or higher in any field other than early childhood education, have completed at least 15 semester hours in early childhood education or related courses and have at least 2,000 hours of verifiable experience in a childcare facility
AND
- Have at least 1,000 verifiable hours in an administrative position or have completed a course or other training in business administration
- Cooperate in a team-oriented setting
- Be a servant leader
- Have attention to detail
- Following all licensing regulations
- Hiring and training staff
- Conducting tours of the school
- Effective communication skills
- Monitor and assess classroom environments and give support to teachers
- Provide feedback and guidance to parents as needed
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
- Provide patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and positive work environment
- Passionate in cultivating excellence and a lifelong love of learning
- Understanding of the Montessori philosophy and be willing to obtain certification
- Elementary school experience is preferred, but not required
