We are a private school serving children with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing a nurturing environment that focuses on academic, behavioral, and essential skills for living. Our teachers establish positive educational environments, developing, implementing, and relating daily activities and special needs to core curriculum by utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience teaching special education students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities (e.g., Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders) and significant behavioral challenges.
- Has an empathetic and supportive attitude towards all clients/patients we serve.
- Has the ability to create professional relationships with clients.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of the environment in which clients are being assessed and seeking assistance.
- Is flexible, open to feedback and learning, and adaptable to change.
- Demonstrates self-confidence/perseverance/strong work ethic - remains positive and maintains progress toward a goal despite obstacles and adversity.
- Can organize and act on several activities concurrently.

Job Specifications

- Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually.
- No bonus/commission.
