Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for each student's unique needs.
- Provide data-driven instruction to promote meaningful outcomes and assess student progress regularly.
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to inform teaching strategies and support the development of adaptive behaviors.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and ABA by attending training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ABA principles.
- Experience working with students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities, particularly those with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a passion for lifelong learning.
- Current Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate and ability to pass mandatory background checks.
