Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Office Assistant to join our team at a busy dental clinic. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Maintain and update patient medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in managing medical documentation, including processing insurance claims and verifying patient information.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for record management and appointment scheduling.
- Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms, ensuring aseptic technique is followed, and assisting with vital signs as needed.
- Operate 3D scanners and other dental equipment under the guidance of licensed professionals.
- Handle phone inquiries, respond to patient questions, and provide information about services offered, including endodontics.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices, medical records management, and aseptic techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and experience using dental software such as Eaglesoft will be considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
