Springwood Dental Associates is looking for a dental assistant to join our team. We are located in York, PA and have been practicing in the community for over 30 years. We take pride in providing high quality dental care while creating a pleasant environment for both our patients and staff. We look forward to hearing from you and expanding our dental team!
Hours: Mon-Tues-Wed-8 am - 6 pm, Friday 8 am - 4 pm
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for dental procedures
- Take patient radiographs as needed
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed for each procedure
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist chair-side through 4-handed dentistry
- Help maintain cleanliness of operatories pre and post treatment
- Ensure operatories are well stocked
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant preferred, but not required
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good communication and people skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
