Customer Service Representative - Lightning Labels

Description

The customer service representative coordinates all activities of the company in dealings with customers, including quotes, processing orders, expediting orders, resolving problems and communicating needs of customers to all departments as needed. 

  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities


Primarily service “House Accounts” with own account base:

  • Enter orders/Quotes
  • Handle Artwork bounces
  • Handle Proof Approvals and reach out to those who have not approved proofs
  • Schedule orders for production
  • Act as product expert
  • Answer phone calls and emails 
  • Support shared email box used by customers
  • Customer Status requests
  • Provide exceptional service to retain customers
  • Handle any issues with order and order changes 
  • Liaison between customer, production and prepress
  • Manage customers’ expectations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  

Job Requirements


· Customer service experience in manufacturing

· Excellent people skills/ Genuinely enjoy helping people

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Attention to detail and quality work


Education and Experience


· 2 years post high school education in business related field of study, 4-year degree preferred, with two years’ related customer 

  service experience or combination of education and experience.

· Ability to interpret a variety  of customer instructions in written, oral and supplied samples and match them  to capabilities of our 

  production process.

· Ability to apply concepts of moderate math and calculate figures such as percentage discounts. 

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations 

· Ability to speak effectively with customers and other employees. 


Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
