Service Technician

Currently hiring Irrigation Service Technicians.

Paid bi-weekly with overtime. NO weekends.

Preferred applicants are mechanically inclined and have worked in general construction, lawn services, plumbing, HVAC, or irrigation. Enjoys working outdoors. Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record. Self-motivated and communicates well.

Summary: Sprinkler Irrigation Services is looking for motivated individuals to join the family. Great opportunities to grow and learn. Independently driven to inspect, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems. With great attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff the diagnosis status, needed repairs, and repair options. This position requires in-person customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Basic understanding of Lawn irrigation systems.

· Familiar with application, installation, and repair of various sprinkler system parts to include but not limited to: Valves, heads, controllers, piping, and wire.

· Ability to solder copper.

· Able to diagnose pressure and volume, light electrical, and malfunctions of lawn sprinkler systems.

· Tech savvy with familiarity of Wi-Fi network and connections.

· Able to maintain assigned vehicles, supplies, tools, and equipment.

· Maintain stock and inventory of assigned vehicle ensuring all parts and equipment needed for days work are available.

· Effective communication with customers, office staff, and management.

· Proficiency in time management

Qualifications: Completion of Service Technician Training Program or 1-2 years of experience in lawn sprinkler industry. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent, but not required

Working Environment: This job requires outdoor work for 8 hours a day in various environments including inclement weather. Daily working conditions include mud, dirt, sand and water. Applicant must be able to lift, push, pull 50lbs for moderate durations of time. Job includes use of power tools and possible use of heavy machinery.
