Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing reactive work orders and proactive maintenance tasks for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, frozen carbonated beverages, fountain soda, ice makers, various food service equipment, general maintenance, and fuel systems maintenance. Prioritizes work for the team of field service supervisors and technicians to ensure efficient and effective execution of maintenance service requests. Conducts inspections and oversees maintenance work to ensure quality and safety protocols. Manages the hiring, training, and termination of maintenance field staff. Works with the field team to support more complex maintenance tasks. The role must possess expertise in various fields, concepts, practices, and procedures. The role will rely on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals. Actively performs multiple tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected. Handles other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee repair and maintenance services.
2. Provide support and training for team members.
3. Manage service operations in a 24/7 environment.
4. Deliver guidance to Field Service Supervisors and their technicians.
5. Organize the team based on skills and geographical locations to maximize technician efficiency, ensure adequate geographic coverage, and meet established service levels.
6. Handle the hiring, discipline, and termination of personnel.
7. Report on team efficiencies and identify gaps in service.
8. Review and approve payroll.
9. Conduct employee evaluations.

Store personnel, SSC personnel, vendors
Preferred Education:
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Supervision of Field Technicians. 3 years technical experience in Appliance Repair / HVAC / Refrigeration trade. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook. Proficient with smartphones and/or tablet computers.
Preferred Experience:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated base working knowledge of appliance repair and/or HVAC/R equipment. Management/Leadership training.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver’s license.

Travel: Travel as needed
Hours & Conditions: Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
