Sprout Early Care & Preschool is a small business located located in Kalamazoo and Otsego, MI. We are social, fast-paced, fun, and our goal is to build a dynamic team by hiring fun, professional, nurturing teachers that will have a positive effect on the families and children we care for.
Our center is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm. We are seeking a full time or part time, and very reliable, teacher to assist in our toddler classroom.

Requirements:
-CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
-Ability to pass a background check
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
-Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being of all children & have a passion to work with children
-Possess a high school diploma
-Experience working with children
-Be able to kneel, squat, lift, bend, and carry children of various sizes and weights
-Have reliable transportation
-Ability to work at a fast pace
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers, ensuring their well-being and development.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills.
- Supervise children during playtime and classroom activities, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including First Aid and CPR protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance classroom management and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
