Manager, Copy

Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for a creative, strategic, and collaborative Manager of Copy to lead our brand voice and storytelling. This role is ideal for a seasoned copywriter who thrives on developing breakthrough marketing campaigns, inspiring teams, and driving innovation in messaging. • Lead Creative Concepting – Develop campaign ideas that resonate, disrupt, and inspire. You won’t just write—you’ll craft experiences that make an impact across multiple channels, from digital and social to in-store and print
• Elevate Brand Storytelling – Define and refine messaging that captures the essence of Sprouts. You’ll push beyond the expected to create copy that engages, informs, and delights
• Guide and Mentor – Manage a team of writers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. You’ll help elevate the work, ensuring consistency in voice and tone while encouraging fresh perspectives
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with designers, marketers, and leadership to bring big ideas to life. You’ll be a key player in brainstorming, problem-solving, and shaping how our brand connects with customers
• Creative Process & Project Management – Ensure consistency and accuracy of tone, and voice across all creative projects. Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization. Work with the Traffic Manager to establish resources, develop project plans and identify gaps in project submissions

• 10 years of copywriting experience, with a strong background in marketing and advertising
• 3 years of experience leading teams, providing guidance and mentorship in a creative environment
• Retail and/or agency experience preferred—understanding how to drive customer engagement through compelling copy
• Food industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Expertise in concept development—not just executing ideas, but shaping them from the ground up
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills—you can translate big ideas into actionable strategies
• Curiosity and resourcefulness—you’re always seeking new ideas and innovative solutions to challenges
• Adaptability to change and a fast-paced environment – You thrive under tight deadlines, embrace pivots, and remain focused and effective in a dynamic setting
• A growth mindset—you’re eager to push creative boundaries and explore new ways to connect with customers
• A passion for collaboration—you believe the best work happens when teams work together
• Strong organizational skills—you can manage multiple projects and priorities seamlessly
• A portfolio showcasing creative concepts and campaigns across multiple channels
