What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM Expo position at Spruce Farm and Fish?
The on-property restaurants & bars at historic Hotel Boulderado have started growing their staff! Spruce Farm & Fish, The Corner Bar, and License No. 1 are looking for experienced Line Cooks or highly motivated individuals interested in the culinary profession for the position of Kitchen Expo. Located in the heart of Downtown Boulder, employees have the option of training at any on-property restaurant. Back of house staff assist the three on-property restaurants through one streamlined kitchen.
The right candidates must be team players that have a passion for quality product, exceptional service, ability to multi-task, and enjoy completing different projects each day. We are currently looking to fill positions on our PM Service Team. The position typically starts at 3:30PM. You will work with our PM Sous Chef to learn how to conduct a successful service where you are responsible for assisting the team to deliver outstanding guest service, hospitality, and financial profitability.

As an Expo you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (flexible schedule accommodations including working holidays and weekends are required):
- Garnish dishes to order consistently producing results that match or exceed company standards
- Ensure proper portions and presentations of every dish made
- Keep station(s) clean and organized during your shift
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends
- Evaluate and address issues in the kitchen and make improvements accordingly
- Assist in monitoring kitchen inventory and inventory control
- Working with team members to direct and other operating expenses to ensure the profitability of operations

- Cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
