Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As the ADON, you will assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing and supervising nursing staff.
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring smooth workflows and high standards of care.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
- Monitor staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
- Conduct audits and quality assurance reviews to maintain excellence in care delivery.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, management, and families to address concerns and ensure clear communication.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
