Job Description:
We are urgently seeking committed and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Emergency Department team at leading healthcare facilities across Massachusetts, including Lawrence, South Weymouth, and other locations state-wide. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will be on the front lines, providing critical care to patients in a variety of emergency situations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide acute care for patients experiencing medical emergencies such as trauma, cardiac events, strokes, respiratory issues, and more.
- Quickly assess and triage patients to determine urgency and appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, IVs, and life-saving treatments in line with the highest standards of emergency care.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient vitals, medical history, and response to treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize advanced emergency medical technologies and equipment to stabilize patients in life-threatening conditions.
- Ensure patient and family communication, providing updates and guidance during critical moments.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanour in high-pressure situations while ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) are required.
- Strong clinical skills in emergency care, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multidisciplinary team.
