Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various settings such as travel nursing, nursing homes, and acute care facilities. As an RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with catheter care and other specialized medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
• Participate in the assessment of patients' needs and contribute to the development of nursing interventions.
• Provide support during procedures such as spinal taps or mammography when required.
• Stay current with best practices in nursing, including advancements in neonatal ventilator care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in travel nursing or working in nursing home settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of acute care practices and patient care protocols.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Certification or training related to specialized areas such as catheter care or neonatal ventilator management is a plus.

Pay: $58.46 - $60.53 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
