Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. In this critical role, you will provide exceptional patient care, monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to their needs in a fast-paced telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, particularly in pain management and acute care, and will be committed to delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry data to identify any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide pain management interventions, including acute pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and medication administration.
- Perform laboratory tests as needed and interpret results for appropriate action.
- Assist in procedures involving botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers when applicable.
- Provide care for infants as necessary, ensuring safe practices in infant care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in telemetry nursing or a related field preferred.
- Strong skills in patient care with an emphasis on pain management techniques.
- Familiarity with CT imaging processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology practices is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $47.83 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
