Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform IV insertions and manage intravenous therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions or emergencies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following experience or skills:
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry or critical care setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices, pain management techniques, and medical imaging procedures is advantageous.
- Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center or clinic is a plus.
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an ER setting is beneficial.
