Pay Rate: $55/hr to $60/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be skilled in various nursing practices. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will also engage in health coaching and community care initiatives, enhancing the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual health needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide health coaching to patients, educating them on disease management, wellness strategies, and preventive care.
- Perform catheterization and other clinical procedures as required.
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as Cerner for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, including those requiring home community care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
- Engage in esthetic laser treatment procedures where applicable, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and relevant medical practices to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience or training in health coaching is preferred.
- Familiarity with home community care practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform dialysis procedures if required by the facility.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner.
- Experience with catheterization techniques is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
Experience Required: Must be at least one years recent experience in specialty.
