Job Overview :
Spruce Healthpro is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department (ED) RN to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing, triaging, and treating patients with acute and life-threatening conditions while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform rapid assessments and triage of incoming patients.
- Provide immediate and effective emergency care based on clinical priorities.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions following protocols.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond quickly to critical situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and emergency medical teams for optimal patient care.
- Operate and manage emergency medical equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators, and monitors.
- Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses in electronic medical records (EMR) .
- Educate patients and families about their treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Maintain infection control and emergency preparedness protocols .
Requirements :
Active RN license in [State].
Minimum 1-2 years of Emergency Department experience (preferred).
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required).
Strong knowledge of emergency protocols, trauma care, and critical interventions .
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, high-volume environment .
