Job Overview :
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Oncology RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care for oncology patients, administer treatments, and offer emotional support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation treatments following established protocols.
- Monitor and manage adverse reactions to treatments and medications.
- Collaborate with oncologists, specialists, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans .
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, side effects, and coping strategies.
- Assist in pain management, symptom control, and palliative care when needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation .
- Ensure compliance with oncology care best practices, safety standards, and infection control protocols .
Requirements :
Active RN license in [State].
Minimum 1-2 years of Oncology nursing experience (preferred).
OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification (preferred but not required).
BLS and ACLS certification (required).
Strong knowledge of chemotherapy drugs, side effects, and cancer treatments .
