Sterile Processing Technician - Immediate Opening (5 Years Experience)
Location: Rockford, IL (Candidates Must Be More Than 50 Miles from Rockford)
Shift: Day/Evening/Night

Note: Local and travel rates will be applied (If the candidate's driver's license lists an address more than 50 miles from the facility in Rockford, IL 61104, they will be considered a traveller, and the travel pay rate will apply.)

Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and proper maintenance of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Adhering to strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards.
- Performing inventory control and ensuring sterilized items are prepared for use.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to meet patient care needs.
- Conducting regular quality checks on sterilization equipment and processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or in a similar role.
- Certifications preferred: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or other relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control guidelines, and hospital safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be located more than 50 miles from Rockford, IL (no relocation assistance available).
