Youth ministry interns at Spruce Lake Summer Camp will work directly with children between the ages of 5-18 and have direct supervision over 6 to 10 kids / youth each week.
They will be responsible for planning and leading devotionals each day as well as coming up with some free time activities.
Pay is $500 / week, plus room and board.
Share Christ and have a blast with the campers in your group as you build relationships!
Youth ministry interns lead groups of campers with support from camp leadership.
Spruce Lake Day Camp provides a fun and caring place for campers ages 5-15 to learn about God and enjoy time outdoors with friends.
Spruce Lake's Overnight Camp gives kids ages 8-18 the opportunity to experience adventure and fun in God's creation for a week at a time by age group.
Camp leaders in both Day Camp & Overnight Camp have a profound impact on each camper's experience and make what we do at camp possible.
Each summer we look for individuals who are responsible, fun, and have a desire to point people towards Christ! You'll be working with an amazing summer ministry team as well as discipling campers and doing life in community.
A Day in Life at Camp
- Start each day with a time of worship and brief Bible story / study
- Enjoy Awesome Fun Activities with your campers
- Lunch Time!
- Water Fun - Swim at the pool, go down the waterslide, or kayak on the pond
- Wrap-Up & Dismissal for Day Camp / Dinner for Overnight Camp
- Rec Hour - big group games on the ballfield
- Fireside - a highlight of the day - fun and meaningful worship with the overnight campers
- Sleep well (Sleepouts optional!)

Spruce Lake Ministries, Pinebrook or Spruce Lake, does not currently hire anyone who is not authorized to work in the US, nor are we able to sponsor international employees or volunteers.
At the employer's expense, all employment hires are contingent upon completion of FBI Criminal Background fingerprint clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance and PA Criminal History Clearance.
