New York State Office of the State Comptroller is seeking a IT Specialist Mid-Level to create, monitor, & execute batch enterprise batch schedules.

The candidate of this position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Creating procedures in enterprise batch scheduling software according to instructions provided by technical staff.
- Performing necessary actions to ensure proper execution of batch schedules.
- Monitoring enterprise batch schedule progress and report issues to the appropriate technical teams for resolution.
- Migrating programs and files into production libraries.
- Analyzing job failures and take appropriate action to communicate and resolve the issue, following run book documentation or additional business user instructions provided.
- Effectively communicating with technical staff when assisting in resolving job failures or completing ad hoc requests.
- Documenting job failures and resolutions and notify appropriate staff.
- 36 months experience working with CA Workload Automation ESP Edition
- 3 months experience working with Time Sharing Option (TSO)/Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF)
- 3 months experience working with CA WA Workstation
- Associates Degree
- Full time role with engagement length of 24 months
- Daily work hours: Fri - Sun 7 am - 7:30 pm
- Physical office location: 365 Jordan Rd, Troy NY 12180
- Telecommuting options: 75%
- Interview will be in Person
