Day to Day task include:
- Perform MUMPS/Cache programming
- Attend and participate in meetings related to projects and tasks affecting the Tracking and Billing System (TABS)
- Gather, document, and implement technical requirements for new MUMPS/Cache solutions
- Analyze and design MUMPS/Cache solutions to support the strategic vision of OPWDD
- Support existing system interfaces
- Develop and implement new technology for interfacing TABS with internal and external data-consuming systems
Requested Qualifications:
- 60 months programming experience using MUMPS to develop and implement Admission / Discharge / Release and / or Financial Eligibility and Billing software in a health-care delivery environment.
- 60 months experience using WSDL in SOAP applications for the designing, creation, and updating of Cache’ web services.
- 84 months programming experience using MUMPS (Mass. General Utility Multi-Programming System) excluding post-relational Cache’ (i.e., Cache’ objects, etc.).
- 60 months experience working closely with Project Managers on Project Teams providing technical assistance and guidance in making use of new technologies and methodologies when implementing new projects while delivering continual improvements for an existing legacy system.
- 36 months experience working with data exchange standards for sharing healthcare related data. For example, Federal HIPAA Transactions (ASC 835, 837, etc.), HL7, NIEM, etc..
- 24 months programming experience using a recent (Version 2018 or later) version of Cache’ or IRIS for Health to develop software.
Work hours and location:
- Full time role with engagement length of 30 months
- Daily work hours: Betweem 7:30am - 9:00am and 4:00pm and 5:30pm, with a 1/2 hour lunch.
- Physical office location: 500A Balltown Road, Schenectady, NY 12304
- Telecommuting options: 50%
