Tasks include:
- Develop and build custom software and integrations for EMR interoperability with hospitals and providers
- Automate read, extract, transform, stage and load data processes using state of the art cloud-based tools
- Design, implement, test, and monitor automated system for ingesting healthcare member, claims and quality data
- Work closely with product and engineering to develop strategy for data ingestion architecture, tools, and processes
- Create data feeds leveraging healthcare standards such as HL7v2, C-CDA, and FHIR
- Construct ETL pipelines for data extracts from HIEs, EMRs, payor databases, and other structured and unstructured sources
- Develop SMART on FHIR Application using HL7 SMART UDAP Flow, EHR Launch, CDS Hooks
- Perform support duties for the production data exchange solutions.
- Build and maintain efficient data pipelines to and from various applications and databases
- Filter and cleanse the data to remove errors and ensure consistency and completeness, employ ETL tools and programming skills to write scripts that correct errors through automation.
- Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it
- Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months experience software development and design multi-level architecture in setting.
- 48 months experience in developing software components in HAPI/SMILE-CDR FHIR server using Java/Javascript
- 36 months experience in FHIR interface design, administration, workflow analysis, development, testing, documentation, and support
- 36 months experience in SMART on FHIR security configuration - Authentication and Authorization (Udap Security Flow, CDS Hooks)
- 36 months experience in developing SMART on FHIR Applications (Provider facing apps)
- 48 months experience working with Health standards and protocols including SNOMED/CPT/ICD10/LOINC/RXNORM codeset
- 12 months experience in Interoperability project - Interoperability and Patient Access final rule (CMS-9115-F)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science or related field.
- HL7 FHIR Certification
- Cloud administration certifications (Azure, AWS, etc.)
Work hours and location:
- Full time role with engagement length of 24 months
- Daily work hours: Starting between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM and ending between 4:30 PM- 5:30 PM with 1⁄2 hour for lunch
- Physical office location: 330 5th Ave A-B, New York, NY 10001
- Telecommuting Options: Negotiable
