Role Overview
As part of Spruce's Strategic Staffing team, the ideal Staffing Relationship Manager will be a self-motivated, organized, outgoing and personable individual with a desire to be a part of a small team integral to the firm's growth. Spruce has an existing footprint in the New York City government sector that we seek to further support and expand through the onboarding of a new Staffing Relationship Manager focused on that market and other related areas, with a specialization in Staff Augmentation. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of existing NYC Account leaders to learn the landscape, gain introductions to existing client and consultant contacts, and learn about the company's services.

Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exemplary interpersonal relationship skills
- Strong ability to carry out tasks independently or with very little supervision
- Comfort interacting with diverse people, ranging from highly technical to business to procurement, including government officials
- Interest in learning more about technology, with a focus on those most relevant to the firm
- Availability to work primarily in New York City; additional regional travel may be mutually agreed upon
- Experience in a business development, sales, or customer service role preferred, especially in an IT-related or staffing firm
- Candidates with exposure to public sector contracting, procurement, or services preferred
- High school diploma; a degree in a business-related field, IT, or communications preferred
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate, maintain, and expand relationships with Spruce consultants, managers within Spruce's client base, and Spruce's subcontractor network
- Interact with Spruce consultants to better understand their needs, client interests, and potential growth opportunities
- Meet regularly with client hiring managers and other business stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and potential staffing opportunities open to Spruce
- Communicate client and consultant needs back to the appropriate Spruce internal teams (HR, Contracts, Accounting, Business Development, Staffing, etc.)
- Establish and maintain relationships with local M/WBE certified partner companies
- Understand the products and services Spruce offers and communicate about the company in a positive light in all interactions
- With guidance, assist with drafting quotes, statements of work, job descriptions, and other deal-related documentation for client staffing needs
- Complete regular internal reporting, including updates to internal CRM or JobDiva system, detailed task and meeting updates, and other status reporting as needed

Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
