DAY SHIFT 5am to 2pm Mon-Fri
Wage: $34-$40/hr
General Description:
The Boiler Operator /Maintenance Technicians primary role is providing multiple support functions for maintenance and production operations. Primary responsibility is to monitor and troubleshoot boiler systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
Start Up/Shut Down/ Operation on heating and process steam systems
Managing water chemistry for both boiler feedwater and cooling tower water systems
Repair and maintenance of process equipment and related support utilities, building and exterior equipment.
Support proper running of utilities including ammonia refrigeration, steam and water, hot oil heating and compressed gas systems.
Assist in directing and supporting custodial personnel.
Complete other assigned tasks as requested
Qualifications:
High School Degree or G.E.D.
2nd Class B Minnesota Boiler Engineers license or higher
3 to 5 years industrial facilities maintenance, experience with and knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair.
General knowledge of production equipment, pipefitting, liquid, compressed gas and HVAC systems.
Must be willing to become forklift certified and don required PPE.
Must be team orientated with a positive attitude and goal focused objectivity.
Must have excellent time management skills and professional discipline to work at an efficient pace, safely executing work orders and prioritized demands
Pipefitting, welding, fabrication skills, and refrigeration knowledge are all a plus.
