Job Description: MN 2nd Class B Boiler Operator position offering a competitive salary of $37.50 per hour starting and a benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, tuition reimbursement, and a vacation package.
Schedule 6pm to 6am 4 on / 4 off
Job Duties Include:
Operate and maintain Boiler Room and Process Plant equipment in an environmentally responsible manner.
Completes required equipment PMs·
Completes small repairs to various systems, including steam and condensate systems.
Collects samples and performs quality testing on samples to maintain quality specification.
Adjust process settings to achieve the quality specifications.
Demonstrates sufficient Boiler and plant equipment competency to operate and troubleshoot Plant Boiler, Stills, Hot Oil Heaters, Incinerators and Plant air system.
Monitors and oversees the plant Fire and Sprinkler system with the use of outside resources as necessary.
Monitors heaters, incinerators, pumps, blowers, fume reduction systems, valves, boilers, tanks, instruments, flow meters, panel lights, other indicators, and other equipment to ensure proper operation, conformity of process conditions.
Statistical Process Control (SPC) software to input, maintain, and track statistical quality data obtained from quality tests utilizing Wonderware Trend to analyze the process for trend analysis·
Maintains cross training in both boilers and process areas.

A state of Minnesota 2nd Class B Boilers Operators License.
