Spry Squared is looking for a strong Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) for our client to provide dedicated MBSE support as part of an integrated team focusing on analyzing current and future technology solutions for the Defensive Cyber Operations-Space (DCO-S) program office. This will be in support of the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, as well as the DCO-S.

Responsibilities
- Architecting, developing, and managing a model-based system engineering (MBSE) environment for capturing all project content. Prefer familiarity with Magic Draw, as this is the primary MBSE tool used.
- Provide support to the Architect Lead for executing the model-based systems engineering (MBSE) effort.
- Experience implementing systems engineering processes using MBSE Tools.
- Can depict technical approaches, designs, block diagrams, and implementations in written and graphical form.
- Required to work onsite at government or government leased facility
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Must have active DoD TOP SECRET with SCI clearance or TOP SECRET with ability to get SCI clearance.
- On-site work only, no remote work.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Systems, Software, Network, Computer)- or Computer Science ABET accredited school required.
- MUST have 10 years of relevant experience in MBSE approach to systems engineering.
- Proficient using systems engineering modeling tools (e.g., MagicDraw, CORE, Cameo Systems Modeler or MapleMBSE) to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification & validation, and continuing throughout development and later life-cycle phases.
- Demonstrated ability to devise solutions for complex problems that require in-depth analysis of tangible and intangible factors.
- Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary project team that may include engineers, scientists, designers, and technicians.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment; present and explain technical information to colleagues, management, or sponsors.
- Masters degree in engineering
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired
- INCOSE certification
- Space systems background
- Velocity templating language
- Understanding of versioning control and database management.
- Understanding of frameworks such as Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Tactical Open Government Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and System Modeling Language (SysML).
- Project management experience, to include management of administrative requirements and deliverable tracking.
