Role Description
This is a Temporary Contract role for a Field Service and Production Technician at Spryson. The technician will be responsible for quality control, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and production of medical devices while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Effective communication with team members and stakeholders will be essential for success in this role.
What we are looking for
- Must possess effective communication, customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in Quality Control and Preventive Maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time (hospitals, universities, military locations and clinics across the US and abroad)
- Effectively follow production work orders and Engineering work instructions on products and devices
- Hands-in experience in soldering and wiring electrical components on panels with DC/AC power sources
- Ability to facilitate computer imaging and integrate computers with medical devices
- Work closely with local and 3rd party service and production teams to deliver product and service levels timely and efficiently.
- Experience in field service and production environments conducting mechanical repairs and installation of devices and replacement parts
- Ability to read and articulate technical drawings and schematics
- Minimum 2-year degree or diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Science Technology)
- Function with limited guidance and supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
- Ability to work in a small team environment and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, start-up environment.
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing is an asset
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
- Proficient working with MS Office and Google Applications
