Following the recent acquisition of SupplyPike, a leading provider of invoice deduction management and prevention solutions, we’re excited to add an Events & People Operations Intern to our Operations team! The Operations team represents the heart and soul of SupplyPike — its people. This team works together to ensure that SupplyPike employees are receiving the 11-star experience.

The Events & People Operations Intern will play a significant role in the retention efforts, specifically hosting office events and maintaining/increasing the efficiency of the business at SupplyPike. We are looking for someone who can support our Operations Team and company-sponsored events. With this internship, you will be able to lead your own event while learning how to plan a successful event at a thriving company. From budgeting to curating surveys, you will gain all the tools to be an experienced event planner!

Key Responsibilities:  

• Oversee coordination of internal events (ex: Bingo and Trivia) and external events (ex: volunteer opportunities and board meetings)
• Venue, catering, event communication, internal promotion, vendor management, and sending and analyzing post-event feedback surveys
• Manage the SupplyPike’s Newsletter “The Pike”
• Support the Operations Manager with their responsibilities and goals
• Manage and ensure all SupplyPike employees' needs are met for peak productivity, including office supplies, pantry, and general office appearance
• Communicate and disseminate company-wide information
• Stay up to date with current operational processes, performance, and budget, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
• Maintain SupplyPike's Culture Code and ensure the overall well-being of employees 

Location:  

This is an onsite position based at the SupplyPike office located in Rogers, Arkansas.

Required Qualifications:  

• Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a relevant degree.
• Able to work 30-35 hours a week in the Summer.  
• Able to build positive relationships with people at SupplyPike through clear, concise, and timely communication
• Able to multitask and prioritize issues, process-driven, organized, and detail-oriented
• Organized and excellent at time management and problem-solving and able to effectively communicate status to multiple parties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

The hourly pay rate for this role is: $16.00.
