Position Summary: The Retail Insights Sales Engineer is responsible for acting as an "internal consultant" across multiple teams at SupplyPike, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. With a combination of domain knowledge and real-world experience, they play a strategic role in advising on and supporting the growth of SupplyPike's retail deductions and compliance capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Be the subject matter expert on deductions and compliance programs across multiple retailers, including Amazon, Target, Kroger, Walmart, Home Depot, and/or CVS, and act as an "internal consultant," representing the voice of the customer at SupplyPike Work closely with SupplyPike Product teams to help with customer research and advise on feature prioritization Support the Sales team by sitting in on sales calls to answer technical deductions- and compliance-related questions, and provide context, guidance, and domain expertise where necessary Support the Marketing team by providing insights around deductions and compliance programs to assist with content creation Support the Customer Success team by advising on deductions- and compliance-related questions, supporting quarterly business reviews, etc. Support other teams in an advisory capacity, including Customer Development, Finance, etc. Stay on top of retail news and developments from various sources (supplier groups, personal/professional networks, newsletters, conferences) and communicate learnings internally Location: This position is open to fully remote applicants with the expectation to visit our office in Rogers, Arkansas once per quarter. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university - Business, Finance, Supply Chain preferred 5+ years of finance (A/P and/or A/R), revenue management, or supply chain experience with Amazon, Target, Kroger, Walmart, Home Depot, and/or CVS Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Tech-savvy and can learn new technologies quickly What We Offer: At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The compensation range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more. SPS provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and annualized commission target for this role. The total annualized on-target compensation range for this position is $99,900- $139,900. Actual compensation will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
