Analyst I - Reporting
The incumbent will work with representatives from various business units in mortgage servicing. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive reports and analysis to various business units which demonstrate the benefit of existing or new business processes. The candidate will be required to extract data from multiple sources and formats (SQL, SSIS, and MS Office) and develop complex reports to be delivered to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with various business partners to develop and maintain business performance reports and dashboards
- Provide analytical support to various business groups and external clients.
- Validate processes and controls through data analysis.
- Assist management with review of existing business processes to identify automation opportunities
- Provide performance metrics to management, external clients, governmental agencies, auditors, and rating agencies.
- Create Ad-Hoc reporting
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities which are REQUIRED
- BS/BA degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience and demonstrated ability and knowledge of Microsoft SQL or other relational database structures.
- Detail oriented with ability to accurately gather and analyze data. Proven history of solving problems and improving processes, increasing efficiency, and thinking creatively.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining Ad-Hoc reports
- Excellent negotiation and customer skills with both internal and external customers
- Excellent computer skills, including use of all Office applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle stress and multiple projects with competing interests for time
- Ability to organize and manage projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities which are PREFFERED
- Experience in mortgage servicing or banking preferred
- Python/VBA experience
- SSRS experience
- Power BI experience
