What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Reporting Associate position at SPS?
The Financial Reporting Associate provides timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of business results. The position identifies, develops and analyzes key drivers, metrics and modeling to support decision-making and progress tracking. The position is also responsible for tracking, reconciliation and reporting functions related to the Company’s trading / hedging portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provides timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of business results Utilizes systems (SAP, QlikView, Power BI, Adaptive) to consolidate and report actuals vs comparison periods and / or forecastReconciles financial reports to source systemsIdentifies, develops and analyzes key drivers and metrics to support decision-making and progress trackingSuggests and drives process improvement related to reporting and analysis
- Manage the execution and delivery of the of the financial plan and forecast
Coordinates with businesses and corporate departments on forecast developmentUtilizes financial systems to consolidate and report on forecastsAnalyzes key drivers of forecasted results vs prior periods and projectionsSuggests and drives process improvement related to the forecast process
