Job Title: Logistics Support Lead (contingent)
This position is contingent upon contract award. A secret security clearance is also required.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serves as team member responsible for executing a wide range of property accountability functions IAW Army Regulations, policies, and procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Ensures traceability and asset accountability across a range of activities associated with supply chain management, maintenance, and repair planning.
• Transfers assets throughout the warehouse manually or using material handling equipment.
• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, and status and location of materials.
• Prepares items for delivery, verifies the correct quantity, condition, and if required serial number.
• Ensures an accurate inventory of all items in your functional area.
• Performs Care of Supplies and Storage Inspections (COSIS) and identifies any missing, lost or damaged packaging and/or materials and immediately notifies the section lead.
• Ensures that all items in storage are properly placed, labeled, and cared for.
• The Lead will be responsible for the day to day direction and supervision of personnel required to support mission/program requirements.
• The Lead will be responsible for the development of logistics processes, status reports and presentations as required.
• Must have knowledge and experience with material procurements, logistics, supply chain management, repair planning and warehouse operations.
• Oversee certified Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operators to move, load, unload, or transport equipment, goods or materials of all kinds within a warehouse, onto trucks, aircraft, ships, or into maintenance shop locations.
• Capable of operating MHE such as Reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, packaging scales, pallet wrappers and other vehicles to aid in the receiving and shipment of equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to the company’s AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma
• 6 years logistics experience working in multiple functional areas.
• A secret security clearance is required.
