Job Title: Test Development Engineering/Manager (contingent)
This position is contingent upon contract award. A secret security clearance is also required.
Job Description:
The technical personnel will perform specialized maintenance on ATE, TPSs, ATE/TPS Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), and BIT/BITE.
• Responsible for all phases of Test Program Sets (TPS) development including analysis, design, test, documentation, scheduling, management of external procurements of TPS and management.
• Develop Test Program Sets for Shop Replaceable Units (SRU), Line Replaceable Units (LRU), and component level UUTs using Qmax, Diagnosis, NHResearch, Huntron and other automated testing equipment.
• Develop technical drawings for electrical, test fixtures and mechanical components such as cables, schematics, and fixtures.
• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, test procedures, test standards, and processes required for TPS development and operation.
• Manage execution and hands-on development of technicians and other engineers in the TPS/ATE group.
• Develop and implement test strategies for external procurement (through contract).
o Includes the establishment of requirements, production monitoring and expectancy criteria and testing.
o Lead customer interface meetings for new and existing development.
o Work collaboratively with Operations, TEISP, and other FMA groups.
• Adhere to the company’s AS9100 and quality policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 10 years of design, test, and engineering experience. Demonstrated and documented experience in automated test development is a requirement. Demonstrated and documented ability to program in Lab View, C , Test Director (QMAX proprietary) and Atlas is a requirement.
Secret security clearance is required.
