We're looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial-minded engineer to help expand production capacity and work closely with our custom machine integrators and our engineering teams in Germany and the USA. You’ll also have the opportunity to be a driver in growing our Belted Chain division into a standalone business. The belted chain assemblies are not only vital to Spudnik equipment but also essential across the potato, sugar beet, and other agricultural industries. What You’ll Do

Design & Product Development

• Become an expert in belted chain applications for agricultural equipment (potatoes, sugar beets, vegetables).
• Support the design and development of new machinery alongside our engineering team.
• Create 3D models and technical drawings using Siemens NX.
• Conduct testing and performance analysis to ensure top-notch designs and material quality.
• Work closely with management and customers to align engineering efforts with business growth goals.
• Work closely with our custom machine integrators and our engineering teams in Germany and the USA

Manufacturing & Process Optimization

• Collaborate with production teams to improve in-house manufacturing processes.
• Design and develop custom-built equipment to boost production efficiency (jigs, fixtures, automation).
• Troubleshoot and solve production challenges related to design, materials, or assembly.
• Support ERP system updates (Bills of Materials, routings).
• Lead new equipment projects, from planning to implementation and training.

Business Growth & Leadership

• Drive innovation and efficiency to expand the Belted Chain department.
• Work closely with leadership to identify business opportunities for growth.
• Take on increasing responsibilities in management, operations, and business development.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or similar).
• Passion for both designing and hands-on problem-solving in manufacturing.
• Interest in business, leadership, and growing a department.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills—you’ll work with engineers, production teams, and customers.
• Proactive mindset—always looking for ways to improve products, processes, and business growth.
• Experience in agriculture or manufacturing is a plus
