Job Summary
The Human Resource Business Partner will run the daily functions of a Human Resource (HR) functional area including proactively sourcing and training talent and ensuring a best-in-class employee experience. The HR Business Partner will embody a positive attitude, results oriented ownership, quick thinking, and concise communication of a thoroughly researched and detailed talent management.
Essential Duties
• Proactively builds and manages an employer brand both internally and externally that ensures adequate staffing levels to meet or exceed company production goals.
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required to meet company goals.
• Performs routine tasks required to build, administer, and execute human resource programs mainly around performance and talent management, but also understands compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Manages the employee lifecycle from start to finish with aggressive goals and results around employee retention and satisfaction.
• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include leadership training, anti-harassment and other HR training, and aptitude exams and certifications.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; drafts and reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- At least three years of HR experience required, bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR required within 18 months of hire.
- Internal and external employer brand building experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases; implementation of HR software a plus (Paycom experience preferred).
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and thus be able to communicate effectively with leadership, employees, vendors, and customers.
Typical Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
