Job Responsibilities
🔹 Troubleshooting & Support – Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.
🔹 Install & Maintain – Set up, configure, and support operating systems, applications, and security tools.
🔹 Client Support & Training – Provide clear, friendly, and effective technical support to clients. We need someone who can explain IT without making people feel dumb.
🔹 Project Work – Assist with or lead network installations, software implementations, and IT upgrades.
🔹 System Monitoring & Security – Keep an eye on client environments, proactively addressing issues.
🔹 Documentation – Maintain records of issues, resolutions, client interactions, and vendor communications.
🔹 Research & Innovation – Stay up to date on new technologies, best practices, and security standards.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Technical expertise – You should be comfortable with:
- Troubleshooting Windows & Mac environments
- Networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPNs
- Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace
- Security tools like backups, antivirus, password managers, and email security
- Remote access tools & VoIP phone systems
✔ Easygoing & team-oriented – We’re a small team that works closely together, and we want someone who is easy to get along with, reliable, and fun to work with.
✔ Great communicator – You can explain technical concepts in plain English—no jargon overload.
✔ Problem-solver mindset – You enjoy digging into issues, finding root causes, and delivering practical, lasting solutions.
✔ Adaptability – No two days are the same, so you need to learn on the fly and pivot when needed.
✔ Familiarity with industry regulations – Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, and other compliance standards is a plus.
Bonus Points If You Have:
✅ MSP experience or working with small businesses
✅ Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.)
✅ Experience with automation and scripting
