Spur Environmental Services is currently seeking an Environmental Technician who is motivated and team oriented. This position will operate under the direction of the Project Manager.
Position Requirements :
- Environmental Technicians are responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.
- Experience with pressure washing, waste handling, confined space and SAR.
- Due to the diversity of both scheduled and non-scheduled remediations and emergency response projects, physical demands, and environmental conditions vary significantly depending on the project. May work in environments that are extreme in nature such as heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, long hours, etc. May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 100 pounds or more.
- Confined Space Entry may be required

Working Conditions :
Work at customer site / Work at SES Facility / On Call 24-7 shifts / Due to emergency or workload demands, subject to extended work hours requiring stamina beyond normal demands or levels.
