Bilingual Aide – Albertville City Schools (Alabama)
Spur, a digital staffing agency, is seeking hard-working and punctual Bilingual Aides for Albertville City Schools.
Position Overview
The Bilingual Aide will support teachers and school staff in creating a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, have experience working with children, and maintain a friendly and professional attitude. This role may include both full-time and on-demand opportunities, based on school needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom setup.
- Help plan and organize group and individual learning activities.
- Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
- Provide individual and group support to reinforce learning.
- Offer enrichment and remedial assistance as needed.
- Assist with testing and evaluation of student progress.
- Promote positive student engagement and interaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the learning environment.
- Be available for on-call assignments as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00).
- Completion of MCS Training (provided at no cost by Spur Training Manager).
- Completion of required online training.
- Prior experience working with children preferred.
Compensation & Schedule
- $15.00 per hour.
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (when school is in session). (Hours may vary by location.)
