Certified High School Math Teacher for Albertville City...

Spur, a digital staffing agency, seeks hard-working and punctual Certified High School Math Teachers in Albertville City Schools from December 2nd, 2024, to February 14, 2024. The ideal candidate for the job would enjoy working with students and hold a passion for teaching. Candidates must be punctual and professional, maintain a professional appearance, and act according to the school’s rules and procedures. Some districts may offer opportunities outside of the regular school schedule.

DUTIES:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and the school's curriculum
• Manage classroom control and address disciplinary issues according to school policies
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
• Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Utilize educational software and online resources to supplement classroom instructions
• Strong knowledge of high school mathematics curriculum and content
• Prior related experience working with children
• The ability to lift heavy objects to 40 lbs.
• Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00)
• Must have an ALSDE Teaching Certificate
• Must be able to complete MCS Training (Training offered at no cost by Spur Training Manager)
• Required Online Training

Compensation

• This position pays $15.00 per hour
• Must be available to work 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday when school is in session. (Hours vary per location)
