The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to the guidelines and procedures set by the school and Spur. The primary responsibilities of this position are working alongside teachers and staff in their day-to-day activities with students . Candidates are expected to always represent the school and program in a positive and professional manner. Candidates are to maintain confidentiality at all times and have the ability to maintain emotional control under stress. DUTIES :
- Provide appropriate supervision for students to ensure safety and support
- Work closely with lead teacher / follow written and oral instruction
- Facilitate small group and one on one instruction
- Assist with testing and evaluation to determine student progress
- Provide enrichment and remedial assistance as required
- Setting up basic technology equipment to support classroom instructions
- Able to work on on-call basis
- Perform related duties as assigned such as lunch duty, hall duty or toileting assistance
- The ability to lift heavy objects 65 lbs. or more
- Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned requirements
- Minimum Qualifications :
Must be 21 years of age
Compensation
This position pays $18.00 per hour
