Job Summary:
We are seeking an Evening Assistant Dining Supervisor to join our team and oversee the evening dining experience for our residents. The ideal candidate will ensure that meals are prepared to the highest standards, assist in coordinating special events, provide guidance to dining staff, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards. Certified Dietary Manager certificate encouraged but not required, there is opportunity for employer sponsorship to attain this.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare evening meals according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet expectations.
- Assist in coordinating special events for evening meals, including menu planning, preparation, and execution.
- Provide oversight and guidance to evening dining staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in ordering food supplies and ingredients, maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Support baking activities as needed, ensuring timely preparation of baked goods for meals and special events.
- Maintain a positive attitude and foster a collaborative work environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure that evening meals are prepared and served in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Dining Services to plan and execute special events, ensuring a memorable dining experience for residents.
- Supervise dining staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed to maintain high-quality service.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering food supplies to meet operational needs.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times, conducting regular inspections and taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members through professional and courteous interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to meal preparation, inventory management, and staff training
Core Schedule:
11 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Every Other Weekend
