We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Mechanical Piping and Controls Supervisor to lead field crews in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC piping and control systems. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on job sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities :
Field Supervision & Project Execution :
Lead and supervise field personnel in the installation of HVAC mechanical piping and control systems.Ensure work is completed according to blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.Manage and coordinate daily job site activities, including labor, materials, and scheduling.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve field issues and optimize system performance.Oversee testing, start-up, and commissioning of HVAC piping and control systems.Technical Responsibilities :
Install and oversee the installation of chilled water, hot water, gas, and refrigerant piping systems.Ensure proper integration of Building Automation Systems (BAS), DDC controls, and other HVAC control components.Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control system schematics and drawings.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and control system issues.Maintain knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.Leadership & Training :
Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members while ensuring work efficiency and quality.Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and skills.Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.Maintain accurate project records, including time tracking, work logs, and material usage.Coordinate inspections and testing with regulatory authorities and quality control teams.Communicate progress and challenges with project managers and upper management.Qualifications & Skills :
5 years of experience in HVAC mechanical piping and controls installation.2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, hydronics, and controls.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Experience with BAS, and DDC controls.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized HVAC equipment.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.Education & Certifications :
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Journeyman or Master HVAC license is highly desirable.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Trane, Carrier, Johnson Controls) are a plus.Work Environment & Physical Demands :
