What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning and Development Specialist position at Spurwink Services?
Spurwink Services is seeking a motivated Learning and Development Specialist for its Training Department. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with computers and software, and an effective trainer of adult learners. The candidate must be able to work independently while using supervision effectively. This is a Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week position with occasional duties outside regular work hours.
DUTIES:
Work with the Director of Training to ensure that Spurwink employees have access to, and complete, required and necessary training. An individual in this position. This includes assigning trainings to employees based on position profiles, reporting on data related to training compliance, delivering some trainings (both live and via technology), scheduling training, and developing training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Associate degree in Education, HR, Business or a related field, or 4 years of experience as a trainer of adult learners.
