In this meaningful role you will provide individual and family therapy within a public-school setting and help guide youth through social and educational hurdles. Clinicians deliver mental health treatment to youth and their families in the school, home, and community setting on a year-round basis. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, school-based setting with teachers, school administrators, and other professionals, while providing much needed clinical interventions. Spurwink prioritizes quality supervision for clinicians at all levels of experience, using a blend of individual and group formats to meet the licensing requirements and professional development needs. Access to a training track of evidence-based treatment modalities is part of the Spurwink experience. A generous allowance is provided for therapy supplies, training, and license reimbursement. Fee for Service positions have a minimum billing expectation of 4 hours per day during the school year and a reduced expectation over the summer. MaineCare reimbursement rates range from $58.20 - $75.02 per clinical hour for conditionally and independently licensed clinicians. Private insurance rates vary depending on licensure. Staff meeting/Supervision/Training is paid at an additional competitive rate.
Fee for Service clinicians will receive a weekly stipend for the first 6 weeks of employment while they grow their caseload. This stipend will be paid in addition to any training/supervision/billable hours accumulated during that time period.

DUTIES:
Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy.
Provide updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.
Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC).
