Role Purpose
The Controller will be a strategic financial leader who transforms numbers into actionable insights, ensuring our financial
infrastructure supports sustainable growth and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategic Management
- Architect comprehensive financial strategies that align with our company's ambitious growth objectives (~$250M
revenue business in 5 years with locations across the country). - Develop and maintain robust financial controls to protect the organization's assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead end-to-end financial reporting processes, delivering transparent, accurate, and timely financial statements that
provide clear visibility into the company's financial health. - Conduct advanced financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and
operational efficiency. - Ability to develop a financial reporting mechanism to oversee multiple locations (~5-10 territories with their own legal entities)
Technical Financial Expertise
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.
- Master the nuanced application of percent-of-completion accounting, specifically tailored to project-based environments like disaster recovery and construction.
- Implement and continuously optimize financial technology ecosystems, with deep expertise in:

- QuickBooks Online: Configuring advanced reporting and integration capabilities.
- Ramp: Leveraging spend management tools for strategic financial insights.
- Familiarity with digital banking tools
- Knowledge of digital-first products that can help accelerate close is a plus

- Design and maintain sophisticated consolidation processes for multiple legal entities, ensuring seamless post-acquisition financial integration.
- Ability to oversee and manage cash conversion cycle (close management of AR days, ability to closely monitor
Strategic Financial Planning
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop forward-looking financial models and scenarios.
- Create comprehensive annual budgets and rolling forecasts that balance ambitious growth targets with financial
prudence. - Develop predictive financial dashboards and reporting mechanisms that transform complex financial data into clear,
actionable intelligence.
Team Development & Leadership
- Build a high-performance finance team characterized by continuous learning and professional development, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience in project-based industries.
Technical Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online and Ramp.
- Expert-level understanding of percent-of-completion accounting.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-entity financial operations.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.

Who will you be working with?
Manny Sasson (CFO): Manny’s background spans being an investor, operator, and strategy consultant. Manny recently joined Servpro Team I/J/W after being a Vice President at Rubicon Founders, a $1B private equity fund in Nashville, and as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, focused on corporate finance and Strategy. Prior to his MBA, Manny had multiple years of investing and operating experience focused on the lower-middle-market industrial, healthcare, and consumer products industries. Manny began his career with experiences at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Manny holds his CPA (inactive) and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
