This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLain® branded products. Weil-McLain® is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881.
How You Will Make An Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Night Clean Up, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the foundry, core room, machine shop, parking lots, and roadways by sweeping and cleaning designated areas. The position requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and respirators. Regular log keeping and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role.

STARTING RATE: $17.50/hr with increases every 6 months
2ND SHIFT: 1:00PM - 9:30PM

- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean and sweep designated areas such as foundry, core room, roadways, parking lots, etc.
- Clean and sweep around and under various machines and sand systems, at floor and other elevations.
- Clean out pits under machines associated with the sand system.
- Empty various hoppers and boxes containing sand and scrap iron/shot.
- Empty trash cans, bins, and hoppers in designated areas such as foundry, machine shop, core room, etc.
- Equipment Care and Safety
- Keep daily log and perform safety inspection on powered sweeper.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of powered sweeper.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods, as required by the job.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Requires the use of appropriate safety precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) due to potential hazards associated with machinery or chemicals.
