As a Service Technician you will apply electrical basic theory and related knowledge to test electrical units, receive material in the system and be able to deliver finish units.
What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at Genfare, your core responsibilities will be:
- Test, troubleshoot and repair production and field service electronics/mechanical assemblies, parts and equipment.
- SAP knowledge
- Contact with Customer for feedback and questions regarding ETA.
- Sort orders by replacing the material that can be replace, TECO and ship it immediately.
- Refill the kanban and bulk material according to procedure.
- Availability to travel 40% of the time to support during installations.
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Should solicit customer feedback to improve service
- Must have knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, smartsheet
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry;
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables;
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Require Education / Experience
- Associate/Bachelor Degree or Certificate from college or technical school.
- One year related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
