What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Center Engineer (Infrastructure Cloud) Level 4 position at SPYROS Information & Technology Consulting?
Duties:
- Experience in Infrastructure/Datacenter engineering for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting one or more Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, and/or AIX systems
- One or more engineering disciplines:
- Storage Engineering: multiple enterprise HPE Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Network Engineering: Cisco network LAN/WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering: VMware vCloud Enterprise Suite; hybrid cloud with multiple classified Government clouds.
- Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE)
- Professional-level Linux, VMware, Network, Storage, or Cloud certifications desired
- ITIL Foundations certification desired
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Qualifications:
- Must possess Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Requires 8 to 10 years experience with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years experience with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years experience with PhD.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $160,000. Final salary is commensurate upon education and applicable years of experience.
